Head Chef Stephen Bass and his team of talented chefs will be putting together a 3 course Caribbean themed menu for you to enjoy.

£25 per person

Starters

Caribbean shrimp with a pineapple relish
Spiced corn fritters with a tamarind sauce
Jerk pork belly skewers with a mango salsa
Salt fish cake with spicy lime and chilli jam
Jamaican chicken soup with dumplings

Main Course

Sticky jerk salmon with mango slaw
Sweet potato and black bean curry with sticky rice
Jerk chicken thigh served with rice and peas
BBQ and coconut marinated pork ribs with spiced fries and Caribbean slaw
Jerk marinated steak served with spiced fries and Caribbean slaw

Desserts

Chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and banana ice cream
Ginger and rum sponge cake with a coconut cream
Trinidad sweet rice; Rice pudding with ginger, cinnamon and rum soaked raisins
BBQ pineapple rings served with coconut ice cream caramel sauce and coconut shavings
Trio of sorbet; Mango, Lemon, Lime

When I heard that Mudith Mathanga had started up a business offering Sri Lankan cuisine I was intrigued to try it.
We at the community hub we were asked to enjoy the culinary delights of Live Dosa, located opposite the bus station in the centre of Chelmsford city.
