Following on from the success of the Chelmsford Restaurant Festival, Chelmsford City Council’s Events team is running a campaign of competitions and giveaways between 1 - 10 November 2018, giving you the chance to win some exclusive dining experiences.
On Saturday 13 October, the River Clean-Up will be taking place once again and Love Your Chelmsford are inviting residents to come along and assist with a community clear up of the city centre riverbanks.
The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Fundraising Team are busy organising our very first Tower Trail at Layer Marney Towers taking place on Saturday 17th November 2018. The 5 mile route will be over fields and farmland in the beautiful surrounding countryside. The walk also includes access to the towers, the grounds and adventure playground.

A city play area has been awarded special status as it has been adapted for disabled children and wheelchair users.
The Adventure Castle play area in Hylands Park is now officially accredited by PiPA, also known as Planning Inclusive Play Areas.
Work is now officially underway on the county’s first ever all-through school at Beaulieu in Chelmsford.
Construction on the new £34million school started following a ground-breaking ceremony at the site yesterday.
