Angel Pavilion is a new community hub in Broomfield, located at Angel Meadow - the park behind the Angel Pub on Main Road.



Home to Cheerful Chai cafe and a large hall open for lots of weekly events such as Pilates, Tai Chi, Angel Tots Playgroup, Chai Rhyme Time children's music and story time …. and much more. Our hall is also available to hire for private events and birthday parties.

Cheerful Chai


Cheerful Chai cafe serves a wide variety of drinks and treats - Artisan coffees, Chai Latte and many other hot and cold drinks, home-made milkshakes, ice creams, fresh sandwiches made to order, a daily selection of freshly baked cakes, brownies and cookies.



We have indoor and outdoor seating and a serving hatch for dog walkers to order whilst in the park, plus even home-made dog treats!

Chelmsford City Council is asking residents to take part in the annual Rocket O'Clock scheme. The scheme asks people to be considerate of others when holding their own firework displays.
You can only report a missed collection within 24 hours of your collection day. If your collection is on a Friday, you can report a missed collection on the following Monday.
