How It Works
Chelmsford Central Parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9:00am, come rain or shine. To take part, runners simply need to:
• Register once online with Parkrun
• Bring a printed or digital barcode
• Turn up before the start time
There’s no cost to participate, which has helped make Parkrun one of the UK’s most inclusive fitness movements.
More Than Just a Run
While many attend to improve fitness, Chelmsford Central Parkrun is just as much about community as it is about running.Participants range from first-time walkers to seasoned athletes, and the welcoming atmosphere encourages people to return week after week. Volunteers play a key role, helping with timing, marshalling and organisation.
After the run, many participants head to nearby cafés for a well-earned coffee — adding a social element to the morning.
