Hi! My name's Olly, and I'm a professional QUIZMASTER based in the lovely north Essex town of Halstead... although I was born and grew up in the (now) city of Chelmsford.

Although I do enjoy hosting quizzes in many different cities, towns & villages all over the place, not just in Essex.

If you're looking for a professional (but fun and light-hearted, if I do say so myself) person to host your quiz - you've definitely come to the right place! I've written and hosted quizzes in pubs (where it all began for me...), village halls, people's houses and sports centres just to name a few!

I can host a quiz for any occasion - be it a charity fundraiser, a birthday party, a wedding...you name it, I can do it!

They are always GREAT FUN - I make sure of that personally! I KNOW people enjoy them - because they always tell me afterwards! And, at the risk of blowing (continuing to blow?) my own trumpet - people keep ringing up to hire me to write and host THEIR quiz, often as a result of attending one of my previous quizzes! So I must be doing SOMETHING right!

And not only are they fun, but they also bring out people's (friendly) competitive streaks, they make you think (not too hard, mind), and they bring people together! Oh, and you might just win a prize too!

My motto here at Quizzage is to provide 'professional quizzes with a personal touch'. This means that YOU, the customer, get to choose what happens at the quiz! For example, YOU decide...

What rounds you would like at the quiz (e.g. food & drink, politics, sport)
How many rounds you would like
How difficult you want the questions to be
Any 'specialist' rounds (e.g. the history of Accrington Stanley FC, the life & times of Bill Gates, the greatest hits of Mr Blobby, etc.)
I can write questions on ANY subject you require - my quizzes are 100% bespoke to YOUR personal requirements. Every individual quiz is tailored to what YOU want.

All answer sheets (including picture/table round sheets), score sheets, scrap paper and pens are provided by me. There's no need for you to worry about the minor details such as stationery and the like - leave that to me! If necessary, I can on request provide my own sound equipment, especially if you want one or more music (audio) rounds. I have a portable PA system (with its own stand) and a microphone (and plenty of spare batteries!) The PA system can create enough sound to fill most rooms (but can also go quiet enough so as not to disturb sensitive neighbours!).

And remember...stay quizzical!
