Cabaret comes to Fling Festival!

Fling Festival returns to the glorious surroundings of Hylands Park, Chelmsford on Saturday 6 July, featuring an awe-inspiring line-up of top acts from the UK’s cabaret and alternative entertainment scenes.

Created purely for adults, the Fling is like no other festival in Chelmsford and features the biggest line-up of diverse entertainment in Essex. Prepare to laugh, cry and be amazed by this year’s Cabaret & Social Club stages, featuring a busy programme of new acts combined with the usual Fling favourites.

This year’s Cabaret Stage line-up includes:

Lila la Scala — the Cabaret compere who has been at the helm of the UK & Europe’s top variety and burlesque extravaganzas. She’ll enthrall, enchant and seduce your ears as well as the eyes.

Annabelle Holland — the top female knife thrower in the UK and one of the only ones in the world. She has a wit as sharp as her knives and will make you laugh and terrified in equal measures.

Trash Valentine — London’s award-winning Las Vegas show boy combining satire, striptease and bawdy allure. His ‘boylesque’ performance is known for leaving audiences laughing with joy.

Mahri & Leo — Amazing acrobatic duo who perform all over the world, stunning audiences with their beautiful and physical acrobatic feats. Half of the duo is one of the UK’s only bottle walkers, and the other half can do surprising things with a hammer and a nail.

Daniel Gorski — a regular on the Australian lively cabaret, circus and festival scene. His passion for movement performance has seen him win multiple national and international awards.

In addition, the popular Social Club stage will return featuring a diverse mix of shows and interactive games, including: Drag Queen Bingo, Glorious Talent Show, and Saffron Slayer. Local dance groups Bam Bam Boogies, Hawi Belly Dance School and WI Bombshells Burlesque will also be hosting some fantastic dance workshops so you can learn some new moves to bring to the dancefloor!

Tier 1 tickets have sold out. Tier 2 tickets are priced from £28.50 and are available at http://www.eventbrite.co.uk.
