Music Mob Events announce new family clubbing event

BRAND NEW FAMILY CLUBBING EVENT LAUNCHING IN CHELMSFORD!

FIRST EVENT - SATURDAY 20 MAY 2017 - CTZN BAR

Tuesday 2 May, 2017 - Chelmsford, Essex

Music Mob Events are delighted to announce an exciting new family clubbing event coming to CTZN Bar, Chelmsford.

Aimed at kids (aged 4-9) AND their grown ups, Music Mob is a monthly opportunity for families and friends to spend quality time together, listening to great music, throwing some shapes on the dance floor & catching up.

Our first event is on Saturday 20 May from 2.30pm - 4.30pm. In the main room our resident DJ (Chelmsford-based DJ Aubs) will be spinning the kind of tunes grown ups will enjoy just as much as the kids - definitely no 'Dingle Dangle Scarecrow' or 'Let It Go'! For our first event, we're talking a mash up of dance, house, disco, pop and classic floor-fillers - all guaranteed to get the dance floor rocking.

That's not all! As well as the main event of the dancing & music, kids get to enjoy the following - all of which is INCLUDED in the ticket price:

- tattoo station
- crafting
- Lego table
- bean bag book corner - glo-sticks

- balloons
- doodle wall - and more!

And for the adults?! There's a fully licensed bar and the opportunity to kick back & catch up with friends. (And great music, did we mention the great music?!)

The event will take place across CTZN Bar's two floors with music played at a lower level upstairs (where the Lego table, crafting, doodle wall, etc will be) and if the weather is good we'll open up the terrace too.

The proceeds of a cake stall at each event will be donated to a children-focused charity each month. For our launch event proceeds will be donated to Essex-based charity The Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund.

Music Mob. Dance all day. Sleep all night.

About Music Mob:

Music Mob has been set up by Chelmsford-based mum Amanda Kerridge. Seeing a gap in the market for a family friendly clubbing event in Chelmsford and Essex that she could take her six year old daughter to, Music Mob was born. Amanda currently splits her time between Music Mob and working as a Marketing Consultant in the film industry. She has previous music industry experience having spent time in the late 1990s/early 2000’s working with a well known DJ collective promoting their brand and organising events with names such as Fat Boy Slim, De La Soul, Grandmaster Flash and the Beastie Boys.

Music Mob is all about getting the family together, kicking back and having fun! Kids AND grown ups are invited to come along to our daytime family clubbing events to dance & listen to fantastic music played by our resident DJ; music that grown ups will enjoy just as much as the kids. At the same time you can catch up with friends and family, play, laugh...all the things that we so often don't give ourselves time to do as we rush around in today's hectic world.
