Join us on Wednesday 25 June for an introduction to Nordic Walking at ARU Writtle, near Chelmsford.
Nordic Walking uses poles to create a gentle workout for the upper and lower body. The sociable group sessions encourage people to explore natural surroundings together.
The fun, low-impact workshop is taught by experienced instructor, Anne Mills, at ARU Writtle’s stunning 150-hectare campus.
Poles are provided and, after completing the workshop, attendees are welcome to sign-up to the Nordic Walking Group’s regular Wednesday morning walks.
Walker Lu said: "I love the Nordic Walking sessions led by Anne as it's a really good aerobic workout and also great fun.
“I've learnt so much about how to walk correctly and with better posture, and it's been lovely to chat with other group members as we stride through the countryside."
The next workshop takes place on Wednesday 25 June at 9.45 to 12.00 and costs £5. After the workshop, walkers are welcome to socialise and enjoy a tea or coffee.
