Local theatre school enjoys early success
Youngsters who love performing are benefiting from a new Performing Arts school in Springfield.
Headed up by pop star Pixie Lott with the help of her sister, Charlie-Ann, the 'Pixie Lott's Italia Conti Associate School Chelmsford' opened its doors in January and has already been inundated with students.
Abbie Gansbuehler, age 10, from Springfield signed up to the Drama class. She says, "It was amazing to meet Pixie Lott at the open day. I enjoy acting and the class is brilliant."
Sophie Rayner-Gernon, age 7, from Hatfield Peverel, is currently taking singing lessons at the theatre school. She says, "My teacher's really nice and I've made lots of new friends. We learn how to sing all the latest pop songs too."
'Pixie Lott's Italia Conti Associate School Chelmsford' is linked to 'The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts' in London with over 100 years of expertise/experience in performing arts and operates on Saturdays at The Boswells School in Springfield. It teaches dancing, singing and acting to children from the age of 3 to 18+.
