Hello, my name is Robert and I am part of the Southern Skirmish Association, a group of about 150 people who have an avid interest in the American Civil war.
A war which not only had American fighters but lots of foreign fighters like the English, Irish and Germans. Our society has been around for 60 years and is older than most American society's who reenact the period.
We are a mixed bunch of Students, teachers, labours, electricians and many more, we pride ourselves on making all welcome to our events and never turn anyone away. If your are interested in history then this is the hobby for you! We have at least 8-10 events a year all located in the south of England.
