Snapshots from Boreham Past! We at Boreham Hub want to celebrate Boreham past, present and future.
We are fortunate enough to have been sent some photos from Boreham resident Karen Hurrell. They show Boreham Main Road before the A12 and the newer houses were built.
The first one is of Main Road showing the two remaining houses from this time, and still standing today (The Finch and Farthings). The other still existing house on the Main Road, is the bungalow located just before Hurrell Down.
In both pictures you can clearly see the train track and the space where the A12 would now run. We hope you find these interesting, and would appreciate more of the same, so we can show all our residents how much Boreham has changed over the years.
