
Essex Police responded to reports of a burglary at a designer clothing store on Baddow Road in Chelmsford at around 5:25am on 30th January 2024.
A 34-year-old man from Basildon was arrested on suspicion of burglary at just after 5.30am. He remains in custody.
Inspector Sam Girdlestone said “Burglaries at businesses and homes remain a priority for us and we will always look to respond as quickly as we can.
“We are continuing enquiries for this investigation and the stolen items have been recovered.
“Our officers, including our Business Crime Team continue to work with local businesses across the county to ensure they are protected from opportunistic burglaries.”
