Running on selected dates from 28th November 2025 to 3rd January 2026, Enlightened Hylands Estate will unveil an entirely reimagined trail featuring brand-new routes through the parkland. Visitors can expect never-before-seen large-scale light installations, interactive displays, and mesmerising projections that transform the estate’s neoclassical mansion, manicured gardens, and ancient woodland into a magical winter wonderland.
Now in its fourth year at Hylands, Enlightened continues to grow in scale and creativity. This season’s trail is longer than ever before, with two distinct routes designed to showcase different areas of the estate while ensuring a comfortable, spaced-out experience for guests.
Highlights of the 2025/26 trail are reported to include:
• A dazzling new tunnel of light stretching over 100 metres
• Giant illuminated flowers and glowing creatures hidden amongst the trees
• A reimagined Grand Avenue lined with colour-changing installations
• Interactive zones where visitors can control the lights with movement and sound
• Stunning new projections across the façade of Hylands House
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Enlightened back to Hylands Estate with a completely fresh trail,” said event organiser James Lynton. “Each year we strive to push the boundaries of what’s possible, and this winter’s event is our most immersive and visually spectacular yet. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the festive season with family and friends.”
