New Year's Eve hasn't started well for the residents of Hackmans Lane in Chelmsford. At 10.44am this morning Essex & Suffolk Water announced that Hackmans Lane has water supply issues.
The area of Hackmans Lane had water supply issues on 6th November too.
Today's emergency repair is due to a large burst water main.
A crew is en route and a repair will begin shortly.
Update: Repairs had begun by 12.30, and are expected to take until 4pm.
Update: Repairs were complete before 16.30.
