Set against the picturesque backdrop of Hylands Park in Chelmsford from June 26-28, 2026, this three-day camping extravaganza will welcome 30,000 music lovers for an unforgettable celebration of rock, Americana, and good times.
Headlining the multi-stage event are multi-Grammy and BRIT Award-winning rock icons Kings of Leon, legendary folk-rock pioneer Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts, and the soul-stirring The Lumineers. Joining them on the bill are Southern rock stalwarts The Black Crowes, punk poet Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton, '90s hitmakers Counting Crows, powerhouse vocalist KT Tunstall, and indie darlings The Coral, among many more acts to be announced.
Organised by Festival Republic and Live Nation, State Fayre draws inspiration from the vibrant spirit of an American state fair, blending electrifying live music across three stages with the UK's premier BBQ festival, FUME. Attendees can expect award-winning pitmasters, live food demonstrations, whiskey tastings, craft beers, cocktail bars, and a host of non-alcoholic options – all under the big open skies of Essex.
