The Thatched Tea rooms in Main Road, Boreham, were owned by Mr and Mrs Bampton who had 3 children, Rowley, Aubrey & Beryil.
Brian explains "Just down the unmade road next to the Tearooms, Seabrooks had houses. I lived at 4 Nursery Cottage, Brickyard, Boreham with my brother Ray & parents. My dad, Stanley, worked for about thirty years at W Seabrook & Sons, Boreham, on the Fruit Farm, we left the area in 1960.
