Chelmsford City Council is in contact with the company and are awaiting confirmation of a date for a replacement slide to be installed. The current slide will be removed very shortly.
Quality and safety are the Council's first priorities in providing play facilities, and officers would like to thank parents and children for their patience during the replacement of the slide.
All other equipment at Central Park is still available and no other City Council-owned parks in Chelmsford have been affected by the recall.
