The Creation Station Braintree Dunmow & Chelmsford provides fun and creative arts and crafts activities for all ages across the local area.

Our award winning arts and crafts classes for children, called Little Explorers, are both fun and educational...plus we clear up all the mess afterwards! Classes (for preschooler age) are held each week of term time at Beaulieu Community Centre on Monday at 1.30pm. We also run half term and seasonal special sessions, including Family Fun where the family get together to create and craft, Slime and Christmas Card Making workshops and Tiny Treasures sessions for new parents to create beautiful artwork and treasured keepsakes with their baby’s foot or handprint.

We run very popular monthly sociable crafting workshops for adults at local venues including The Angel in Broomfield, on the first Tuesday of each month from 7-9pm. Each class includes a free glass of wine or soft drink and nibbles, and you will make and take home two beautiful handmade craft items. We’re also at Hobbycraft Chelmsford once a month on Wednesday afternoons where you can explore card making and papercraft with us, making a card each session and learning how to use and exploit the potential of the die cutting and embossing machines on offer.

We also love working with the community, delivering quality Care & Creativity crafting with local care homes and assisted living environments. Our charitable initiative Creativity Works is particularly important to us. We work for little or no cost with local organisations, charities and councils one day a month providing a creative outlet for children and adults who are struggling.

We also specialise in large scale crafting event activities and work with local councils, event organisers and shopping centres as well as offering creativity based business training. We’ve delivered creative crafting activities to well over 5,000 children at events such as Cressing Temple Barns Halloween and Christmas, Braintree Town Hall Christmas crafting and local summer fairs.

We run affordable after school Create Clubs for primary schools, to help address the lack of funding for arts and crafts in schools. These are held on school premises and follow the EYFS syllabus, being both fun and educational. Children adore these classes!

Our Arty Parties are also hugely popular, with your choice of crafts to make and a special gift for the birthday child. Adult parties and celebrations are a growing trend, such as hen parties, wedding event activities for kids and birthday or anniversary parties for groups.
