Young footballers set for action as Maldon United launch May half-term camps
Maldon United are gearing up for a busy May half-term, with their popular football camps returning at the end of the month for young players across Essex. The club’s latest Football Camps will take place on Wednesday May 28th and Thursday May 29th, offering an action-packed experience for children in school years 1 through 7. Sessions are scheduled from 9:30am to 3:00pm, with activities hosted at Heybridge Swifts Football Club.
Designed for both beginners and more experienced players, the camps aim to provide a fun and engaging environment where children can develop their skills while enjoying the game.
Participants can expect a mix of:
Small-sided games and competitions
Coaching from FA-qualified staff
Opportunities to progress into Maldon United development programmes
Medals and certificates for attendees
The camps are priced at £25 for a single day or £45 for both days, with sibling discounts also available.
Maldon United, which runs a wide range of youth coaching and development programmes locally, says the sessions are designed to be both inclusive and developmental, giving young players a chance to stay active during the school holidays while building confidence on the pitch.
Spaces are expected to be in high demand as families look for half-term activities, with organisers encouraging early booking to avoid disappointment.
