Fancy a new hobby? New to the area? Then why not join the friendly ladies of North Springfield WI. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at Springfield Green WI Hall, Springfield from 7.30pm for 7.45pm.

In addition to these meetings where we have interesting speakers on a variety of subjects, there is the opportunity to join in walks, quizzes and outings or even learn a new skill at numerous workshops organised by the Essex Federation. Chelmsford City Council is asking residents to take part in the annual Rocket O'Clock scheme. The scheme asks people to be considerate of others when holding their own firework displays.
You can only report a missed collection within 24 hours of your collection day. If your collection is on a Friday, you can report a missed collection on the following Monday.
