This decision follows an analysis of the Papa Johns restaurants that were "no longer financially viable".
Papa Johns has 450 restaurants - along with other premises in service stations and holiday parks. Closure is expected to affect 43 sites. It is unclear how many employees will be affected.
The good news is that Papa Johns in Chelmsford will not be affected by these closures.
