Beginning on 2nd April, 2024, there will be temporary closure on Springfield Road / Navigation Road, Chelmsford.
This temporary closure will affect vehicles travelling northbound between the Tesco Delivery / recycle centre service road and the Navigation Road junction.
Temporary traffic lights will also be in place to manage traffic flows travelling southbound and at the Navigation Road junction while contractors install new traffic signals, improve pedestrian crossing points, widen the road and upgrade drainage and street lighting.
Access to adjacent properties and Bond Street car park will be maintained throughout the works.
