
According to the force, the incident was reported at around 9:30pm. Police arrived shortly afterwards and carried out searches of the area for approximately one hour. Officers have since maintained a visible presence in the neighbourhood over the weekend as part of reassurance patrols.
No injuries were reported from the disturbance, and officers stated they were unable to identify any individuals directly involved.
Essex Police have encouraged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
This appears to be an isolated event, with patrols aimed at providing reassurance to the community following the reports. No arrests have been publicly confirmed in connection with the Saturday night disturbance at this stage.
